Our Product The HaloTrac device actively monitors the indoor/outdoor location, physiological conditions, specifically the carboxyhemoglobin (carbon monoxide in the blood), and environmental conditions of each firefighter or military personnel within a hazardous environment. The indoor location technology already exists and is in its refinement phase. The physiological sensors are presently used in the medical field. This data is transmitted to a receiver unit at the command post for monitoring, and recordation. The HaloTrac system simultaneously monitors the indoor/outdoor location and physiological conditions of multiple personnel wearing the HaloTrac device and operating within the system’s range. When the sensors indicate potential danger, the system receiver unit alerts incident command personnel of a potential problem, and a specific action is taken. Research and Development
Deltin Corp. has invented new technology for first responders. The product is known as HaloTrac, a wireless location and physiological monitoring device helmet attachment. Specifically, this technology consists of a multi-component system for monitoring the location of first responders and monitoring certain physiological conditions that warrant these individuals leaving the scene of a hazardous situation. Each system includes physiological sensors, a location tracking device, a transmitting unit, a receiving unit, and a signaling device. The transmitting unit has a location tracking module and a microprocessor for the physiological sensors.
Deltin Corp. plans to pursue further development of HaloTrac with civilian workers that operate in environments where it would be ideal to locate the worker using this type of system. For example, HaloTrac would also be extremely useful for personnel required to respond to chemical/biological/radiological/nuclear (CBRN) terrorist attack incidents.
