Deltin Corp. Has recently partnered with UC Irvine's CERT Research Center and is planning the development, pilot deployment, and evaluation of an end-to-end firefighter respiratory exposure tracking system. As well as development and pilot deployment of sensors worn by individual firefighters. 

The focus on smoke exposure monitoring is based on the prevalence of chemical monitor use in the fire service, the emerging ability to quantify actual exposures of individuals during firefighting in real time, and the impacts of smoke on firefighter health and safety, both in the short and long term.
